Food Safety and Chemical Contamination

Food safety and chemical contamination has risen to one of our top health concerns. At any given point, it has been a concern since. But now the concern has grown to a health “madness”.

What happens to your food?

Improper handling of food at factories, can cause food that was safe to become unsafe. Modern production and distribution systems make problems that were not anticipated when congress passed the first food safety laws in 1906. In the last 20 years or so, individual food processing facilities have become very large and a single instance of contamination can result in tons of food being affected. Our chains of food supply are often composed of many steps, and at each stage there are numerous possible occasions for contamination of the food.
